Clarence Simpson is an Eastern Long Island Award Winning Artist and Fine Art Photographer. A Vietnam Veteran and a recipient of honors and awards, for his service. Mr. Simpson's work encompasses many subjects. Landscapes, floral, seascapes, portraiture, still life and his most interesting street scenes and the characters on the street. Film and live performances. Still Photography is also part of his repertoire. Although a very disciplined black and white 35mm photographer, Mr. Simpson has also been excited about the digital world of photography. Mr. Simpson has been inspired by such artists and photographers as Henri- Cartier Bresson, Salvador Dali, Paul Cezanne, Pablo Picasso, Clarence D. Simpson, Diego Rivera, Georgia O’keefe, Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Weston, Gordon Parks, Sebastian Salgado, Paul Strand and others of all eras and media.

Mr. Simpson's work has been exhibited and published in many venues.

Mr. Simpson holds an AAS and BA in Cultural Studies, African American Studies and American History from SUNY Empire State College, Saratoga Springs NY.
